摘要
不同文化相互碰撞会产生冲突。因为不同文化背景的人们在交际时，倾向于用自身所在社会的行为规范来判断和评价对方的交际行为。中西文化的发展历程不同且存在着差异，这必然会造成中西交流上的障碍。美籍华裔女作家谭恩美的代表作《喜福会》，就是描写这种文化冲突的典型著作。本文通过《喜福会》中西方个人主义和中国集体主义的家庭观念的了解，以此分析在小说中中西文化价值观念下的冲突与误解，从而提出文化交流中共有的融合策略以及趋势预测。最后在中西文化差异和融合方面提供了一定的个人见解。

Abstract
Different cultures will definitely lead to conflicts.Because of different cultural backgroundspeople tend to judge and evaluate other communicative behaviors in the context of their own social norms. The development history of Chinese and Western cultures is different, which featuring a multitude of differences and inevitably causing obstacles in the exchange between China and the West. The representative book of the Chinese American writer Amy Tan, The Joy Luck Club is a typical work describing such a cultural conflict. Based on the understanding of Western individualism and Chinese collectivism inThe Joy Luck Club, this article analyzes the conflicts and misunderstandings in the novel's conceptions of Sino-Western cultural values, as well as proposes the common fusion strategies and trends in cultural exchanges.
