摘  要：在科技快速发展的经济时代，能够通畅流顺地翻译来自各国的科技文章显得尤为重要。由于中国已经参与到全球化的进程之中，因此英汉科技语篇翻译已在近几十年里成为现代语言研究及翻译理论与实践等领域的一个热门话题.本文主要介绍了科技翻译中名词化的翻译技巧及其在句子结构中的应用。首先从名词化的功能和特点入手再到它在科技英语中的重要作用。最后在通过实例来分析和研究它在翻译中的一些特点和技巧。希望本文对名词化结构及其在科技翻译中的进一步理解和研究有所帮助。

Abstract: In this high –speed scientific development time, the smooth translation of different scientific paper become extremely important. Since china has been involved in globalization, English-Chinese Technical translation has become a topic of much concern and importance in modern language study as well as in the operation of translation practice. This paper is focused on the application and translation in English for science and technology(EST).The paper start from the characteristics and function of nominalization to its mean in the EST and at the end through the study of some examples to analyze and learn its characteristics and the method of its translation. Hope my thesis has done some contributions to the understanding and study of nominalization in EST.
