摘 要：本文试图把德国功能派翻译理论运用到英文魔幻文学的翻译研究中，并通过对《哈利波特》《魔戒》《爱丽丝漫游奇境》《纳尼亚传奇》等英文魔幻作品中专有名词的汉译来分析论述其可行性。功能主义(functionalism)是一个广义的术语，它包含各种通过着眼于文本和译本的功能来研究翻译的理论。目的论(Skopos theory)在其发展过程中起着最主要的作用。“Skopos”一词源于希腊语，意思是“目的”。目的论就是将“Skopos”的概念运用于翻译的理论，它包括三个基本法则—目的法则，连贯性法则和忠实性法则。本文从功能翻译理论的角度尝试运用目的论的三个基本法则——目的法则，连贯性法则和忠实性法则以及其他的一些功能翻译方法，对《哈利波特》《魔戒》《爱丽丝漫游奇境》《纳尼亚传奇》等英文魔幻作品中专有名词的汉译进行分析研究，以此期望从功能翻译理论的视角更好地认识文学翻译.

On the Chinese Translation of Terms in English Fantasy Literature from the Perspective of Skopos Theory [资料来源：http://www.doc163.com]
Abstract: This thesis attempts to apply functionalism to English fantasy literature translation and proves its feasibility by analyzing the Chinese translation of terms in English fantasy literature such as Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and so on. Functionalism is a broad term for various theories that approach translation by focusing on the function or functions of texts and translations. Skopos theory has played a major role in the development of this trend. Skopos is a Greek word for “purpose” and skopos theory is the theory that applies the notion of skopos to translation. There are three basic rules of skopos theory一skopos rule, coherence rule and fidelity rule. An ideal translation would then have the same function and effect as the source text. However, the thesis attempts to apply the three basic rules of skopos theory一skopos rule, coherence rule and fidelity rule as well as some other functionalist approaches to compare and analysis the Chinese translation of terms in English fantasy literature such as Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and so on in the hope of gaining a better understanding of literary translation from the perspective of functionalism.
