科技英语语篇中的语法隐喻研究
科技英语语篇中的语法隐喻研究(毕业论文7500字)
摘 要：隐喻是一种常见的语言现象，在科技英语语篇中被广泛的使用。韩礼德首先提出了语法隐喻理论，并在语法隐喻最初分类的基础上将语法隐喻重新划分为13种类型。语法隐喻的重新分类可以解释跟多的语言现象。本文基于韩礼德对语法隐喻的重新界定和分类，以4篇科技英语语篇为例，对其中每种语法隐喻的出现频率进行了统计分析，发现科技语篇中存在大量的语法隐喻，其中名词化和名词修饰语是语法隐喻中最常用的类型。本文对我们更好地理解和把握英语科技语篇的特点，更好地研究和理解科技语言的本质具有重要的价值和意义。

On Grammatical Metaphor in EST Discourse
Abstract: Metaphor is a common linguistic phenomenon which is widely used in EST（English for Science and Technology) discourse. Halliday first puts forward grammatical metaphor(GM) theory and then reclassifies GM into13 types on the basis of his initial classification of GM. The new classification of GM can explain more linguistic phenomena. Based on Halliday’s reclassification of GM, the author randomly chooses four EST discourses, and uses a statistical method to investigate the frequency of GM in these discourses. It concludes that there exists a large number of GM in EST discourse, mainly nominalization and attributive nouns. It is of great value and importance to explore these GM, for it helps us to have a better understanding and command of the features of EST discourse and a better study and understanding of the nature of language of science and technology language.
