摘 要：石化产品是很多工业部门的基础原料，石化产业在我国的经济发展中占有举足轻重的地位。石化产业包括石油炼制和石油化学工业，它是化学工业的重要组成部门。岳阳市石化产业经过30多年的发展，已基本形成从炼油加工到下游合成材料、橡胶加工、精细化分工比较完整的产业体系，成为了我国重要的化工基地之一，也是促进岳阳市经济发展的重要产业之一。而当前，岳阳市的石油化工产业在发展中存在着不少问题，如何借鉴国际经验发展岳阳市的石化产业，具有重要的理论及现实意义。

Petrochemical Industry Development Research of Yueyang
Abstract: Petrochemical products are the basic raw materials of many industrial departments, petrochemical industry play a decisive role in our country's economic. Petrochemical industry include oil refining and petrochemical industry, it is the important component of the chemical industry. Yueyang petrochemical industry has been basically formed relatively complete system from the refining processing downstream to synthetic materials, rubber processing, fine division of labor after 30 years of development, it has become one of the important chemical industry base in our country, it also promotes the economic development of Yueyang City as one of the most important industry. Currently, in the development of Yueyang City petrochemical and chemical industry exists many problems, how to draw lessons from the international experience to develop the petrochemical industry, which has the important theory and the practical significance.
