ABSTRACT:
Microtunneling is a type of trenchless technology for underground pipeline construction. Using the technology, surface disruptions can be minimized. Currently, open-cut trenching is often not allowed in urban areas or environmentally sensitive areas; therefore, demand for microtunneling is increasing. However, the decision to use microtunneling can be hard to make, because many decision makers are still not familiar with the technology. In fact, it can be a risky and costly process, when used improperly. In order to achieve a successful microtunneling project, it is important to select an appropriate method, considering its strengths and limitations.

小直径隧道施工是地下管线修建的一种少开挖技术,应用这种技术可以减小对地表扰动。目前,在城区或环境敏感区明挖法经常不容许使用,因此,小直径隧道施工的需求与日渐增。然而,由于决策者对此方法还不是很熟悉,故应用此方法的一些决定还比较难做。事实上,如果应用此方法不当,往往既不经济又比较危险。为了成功地将此方法应用于工程实践,有必要对其优缺点加以研究、考查。 [资料来源:http://doc163.com]
