摘要：在世界的任何一个国度，没有哪一个民族的文化像日本民族的文化充斥着悲情主义色彩，这种悲情色彩既不能简单地称之为壮烈的悲情，或是惨淡的忧伤，而是基于日本整个历史环境下特殊而复杂的伤感，它渗透于日本社会和文化的各个层面，也是日本人文精神的关键所在。自日本民族产生文明之日起，这种悲情文化就伴随着日本文明的发展。日本悲情文化的形成有着较为复杂的原因，这些原因包括日本地理环境的恶劣性，日本民族超现实的唯美主义审美精神等。就日本本国而言，这种悲情文化在特定时期里促进了其文明进程发展，也在特殊时期里阻碍了世界文明的发展。就其曾殖民过的区域而言，日本的悲情文化渗透于日本殖民地区，它同样存在积极作用和消极色彩。日本国民性的悲伤特点和文化的悲情色彩的形成是因为有特定的历史原因和独有的文化以及特殊的地理因素等，日本悲情文化也因为受这些因素的影响，有其特殊性。
