摘  要：当今世界，随着时代的不断进步，旅游越来越受到人们的青睐。旅游业已经成为推动我国经济发展的重要力量。伴随着西部大开发战略，拥有丰富旅游资源的湘西地区迎来了越来越多的机遇。 同时，旅游开发也让环境承受了越来越大的压力。传统的旅游发展模式中存在的问题也愈加严峻。主要表现为资源掠夺性开发，景区粗放式管理等。如何使旅游业能够可持续发展，从而实现自然、社会、文化及生态（环境）的协调统一已经越来越受到人们的重视。本文通过对凤凰旅游业发展过程中遇到的问题跟不足的研究，探索湘西地区如何实现旅游业的可持续发展。

The Tourism Sustainable Development Research of Xiangxi,Hunan—For Example Fenghuang
Abstract: In today's world, with the development of the society, travel has get more and more favour by people. The tourism industry has become China's important economic growing force. With the great development of the west, the rich tourism resources of Xiangxi gains more and more opportunities. At the same time, tourism development make the environment under the great pressure. The traditional tourism development model's problem become more serious. Main show is the environmental damage, scenic area's unordered management. Thus how to make the tourism sustainable development and realize the natural, social, cultural and the environment’s harmonious and unified has already got more and more attention by people. This article through the Fenghuang’s problems that encountered in the process of the tourism development that lack of reseaching, so that we can explore Xiangxi area's tourism how to realize the sustainable development.
